We got the kit this week, spent all the free time we had, and it is up and running fully wireless. No security is enabled yet, still working on figuring that part out. We hope to now put on the Jaguars and get the camera going!
Also, we have not started programming in LabView yet, but info on that when we figure it out.

Saturday we held the Robotics Summit. We met with Ponca City's team and approximately 30 people attended! The teams primarily discussed the new control system and how using Labview will affect our programmers.

Other recent news includes...
We have made decisions at the recent meetings to go to Kansas City and Dallas for our regionals, given that our budget permits.
RaileRobotics discussed fundraisers to increase the team budget. Some of these ideas will be announced as they are finalized. For instance, we are doing a donation based give-away and concessions for 8-man football at Athletic Park this Saturday (22 November).

To organize the group better, it was decided that each team member is to keep a notebook to log daily progress.

3DS has decided to meet more often. They will now meet Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays until the animation due date passes.

The Wallace/Tozier concert was a hit! Thanks again to everyone who attended and if you forgot to buy your t-shirt, you can still get one from the team! Just send us a message! Also, if you'd like to see some pictures from the concert, we're adding more almost daily in our photo gallery!

During current meetings, we're discussing financial plans. Our budget has been set and we are beginning to contact previous sponsors (and mentors!) If you are thinking about lending a helping hand, the entire team would appreciate hearing from you!

Animation and inventor sub-teams have begun meeting to teach first years and website team has collaborated over the site. Everyone's working hard already and the ball is finally rolling.
