So How Did We Do In OKC???? :D
We got to Oklahoma Wednesday to get settled. We ended up eating amazing Italian food and seeing our quite roomy rooms.

Thursday was spent practicing with the robot and refining our autonomous programs. We actually got to score from the far section!!

Friday we had our qualifying matches and ended up 3rd in ranking. We also had our scouting meeting for the night and ended up going to bed around midnight.

Saturday we ended up third in the qualifying matches. We were chosen by the 1st ranked team, Metal Mustangs (2410) and the two of us together picked the BroncoBots, (1987) to be on our allience. After some nail biters, WE WON THE REGIONAL!!! The finals were tough, because we lost the first one, but then, since it's best two out of three, we won the second two matches, and took home the banner.

We didn't get a chance to go to Nationals because we didn't have the funds saved up in advance to be able to go.

So now to start saving up for next year!! Wish us luck!!

Finals Day!!
After our Captains and Drive Team going to bed at 1 o'clock in the morning, we were ready to go Saturday Morning. Katelyn sang beautifully that morning, and then we had our first match (out of three) of the day. We won our first and lost our second, putting us 14th in ranking right before our final match. We needed a big jump in ranking to be in the top eight. So after some rule clarifications and talking to our alliances, we had a plan. Score for our opponent. With the way, scoring is this year we would end up with their points for our ranking points. We ended up with 14 ranking points, jumping us from 14th to eighth in ranking! Then in the alliance ceremony, we paired up with teams 1763, and 2461. Winning our quarterfinal matches, we lost in the semi-finals, ending up in third place. The team is proud of their accomplishments and was surprised when they saw how far they happened to go. Going home, everyone was tired and ended up with some well-deserved sleep, so that after spring break we can go for it again and maybe even ending up going farther. Information for Oklahoma will be up shortly.

We are super proud of Team 935,
Hallee
