Crunch Time
This week we have made immense progress and assembled many crucial parts to our robot. Design group finished the bridge tipper. Machining and Prototyping assembled the chassis and made parts for the other components. Our electronics board has also been cut and the electronics group is busy wiring motors, spikes and speed controllers. 3DS is coming along very well on their animation. They are currently texturing and beginning to animate. Website is coding and working on possibly using Dreamweaver for next years’ website. With only two weeks left in build season, it’s crunch time.
Nothing’s impossible. Only improbable.

We are busy!
We have been very busy this week making decisions on our robot. Our design team has been designing our robots shooter and loader, along with our pneumatics team who has helping the design team with the loader. Our public relations group has been making buttons and bandanas and we are getting ready to order t-shirts. Website has been busy coding and fixing anything on the website that is broken while 3Ds has been hard at work on the animation for this year, animating the Iiko and texturing. Programming has been logging files for the accelerometer and brainstorming ideas for target tracking. Electronics has been prototyping a wire tensioning device and updating their prints for the electronics board and Machining and prototyping has made our spaces and worked on making the side plates.

Second week down, Four to go
Much progress has happened this week. The design team has been busy finishing the drive train, suspension, and loader, and working on designing the shooter. 3DS has been modeling and texturing all of the objects we need for our animation and website has been changing all of our photos into the new photo format we have and also updating all of our team information. Programming has made a lot of progress this week with our robot’s camera recognition and also working on the code for our tank drive. Machining and Prototyping has also made progress this week making wheels and prototyping loaders and shooters.
Let’s get ready to rumble!
